My Digital Card (MDC) is operated by Relativity GmbH, based at Breite Straße 25 in 13597 Berlin. Unlike pure software providers, MDC comes from the hardware side: at its core are physical NFC business cards made of metal or wood, as well as the MDC Tag and the Sigma Card, available in the Shopify-based online shop.

Every card includes free access to the cloud-based profile platform MDC-Cloud, through which contact details, links and branding are managed. Contacts are exchanged via NFC tap or QR scan without a separate app.

Data protection & server location

Data protection reveals MDC's greatest weakness, which is reflected in the low GDPR category score of 40 out of 100 points. While the operator is a German GmbH based in Berlin, that does not replace a documented server location.

The MDC-Cloud is technically implemented as a no-code application on the US platform Bubble.io, recognizable by server headers such as x-bubble-* and by images from cdn.bubble.io, and it is delivered via Cloudflare. Bubble hosts by default on AWS in the USA; EU hosting is only available in higher Bubble plans and cannot be verified for MDC.

My Digital Card is a credible German provider with clear hardware strength: high-quality NFC cards made of metal and wood, German-language support (support language 74 out of 100) and a solid feature set for simple contact exchange (72 out of 100). For individual users and small to medium-sized teams looking for a physical premium card with a free cloud profile, MDC is an understandable choice.
